妊娠中のある日、ふとしたタイミングで、
シュナウザーの陶器のオブジェをいただきました。
それは骨董屋で見つけたものだと聞きました。
これから、初めての出産と向き合おうとしていた私が少し勇気づけられたささやかなギフト。
One day during my pregnancy, at an unexpected moment,
I was given a small ceramic schnauzer figurine.
I was told it had been found at an antique shop.
As I was preparing to face my first childbirth,
this modest gift quietly gave me a bit of courage.
花や本など、
日常の中でふと差し出される贈り物には、
説明のいらない温かさがあります。
子どもを授かった今だからこそ、
それがどれほど大きな愛だったのかを、
より深く感じるようになりました。
どんなブランドの高級なバッグや宝石よりも、
その小さなシュナウザーのオブジェから、
私は確かな愛を受け取っていました。
